Produced from hardened stainless steel for optimal cutting effect. Used for clipping the nails of large dogs.
Instructions:
Hold the paw firmly while clipping. With one push of the nail scissors, cut the outermost nail end away. Be careful not to cut off too much, as the blood vessel may be hit.
In the case of very long nails, a small piece is cut off at a time at one-week intervals, as the blood vessel thereby retracts slowly.
In the case of light nails where the vein can be seen, the clipping is stopped before the vein. For dark nails, cut a little at a time.
After cutting, the nails are sanded with a KW SMART Nail File to remove sharp edges.
For extra long nails, see a vet.
Be aware that the nails are not always long enough for the safety stop to be used. In the event of an accident, KW Klip Stop is used, which effectively stops the bleeding. In severe cases, consult a veterinarian.
