Aptus® Nutrisal is a product for restoring the fluid and electrolyte balance in dogs and cats. The product is in powder form and must be mixed with water. Aptus® Nutrisal contains glucose and maltodextrin, which must contribute with energy and electrolytes to maintain the fluid balance in the body. A ready-mixed solution is clear, without color or special taste, which makes the dog and cat drink it voluntarily. In the case of diarrhoea, where large amounts of fluid are lost, the result can be a lack of fluid (dehydration) if the fluid loss is not replaced.
