The blue light has a preventive effect, as it is often associated with the police, emergency services and accidents. The blue light therefore often causes drivers to slow down in traffic.
The color blue stands out among the normal lights in traffic, and as blue light is not so common in the city, this color can be an advantage when you are moving outdoors in the dark.
The blue color has been shown to be particularly evident in dim light.
Blue light is often used to read maps or write in the dark, as the light reflects sharp black lines from white paper. Therefore, it is a good color to have with you on hiking and survival trips, as the blue light will help you find your way.
Blue light can also be used with advantage by hunters who search for wounded animals at night, as the blue light makes it easier to see traces of blood in, for example, the forest.

The Orbiloc Safety Light uses 2 CR2032 batteries.
Can be easily and securely attached directly to the collar with the Orbiloc Buckle. When attaching to larger collars or collars that cannot be opened, the Orbiloc Rubber Strap can be used. The friction of the rubber means that the light does not slide on the collar and it is possible to attach the light to your line. The Orbiloc Dog Dual can also be attached with the Orbiloc Clip (optional accessory) separately). Orbiloc Clip fits most collars/harnesses and can also be attached to your jacket, vest etc.

Den blå lygte har en forebyggende effekt, da den ofte associeres med politi, udrykning og uheld. Det blå lys får derfor ofte bilister til at sætte farten ned i trafikken.
Farven blå skiller sig ud blandt de normale lys i trafikken, og idet blåt lys ikke er så almindeligt i bybilledet kan denne farve være en fordel når du bevæger dig udendørs i mørket.
Den blå farve har vist sig at være særlig tydelig i dæmpet lys.
Blåt lys bliver ofte brugt til at læse kort eller skrive i mørket, da lyset kaster skarpe sorte linjer tilbage fra hvidt papir. Derfor er det en god farve at have med på vandre- og overlevelsesture, da det blå lys vil hjælpe dig med at finde vej.
