Bayvantic Vet is a combination of imidacloprid and permethrin for treatment against fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. Ticks are scared away, fleas and larvae are killed and mosquitoes are kept at bay.

Indications: For the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis) on dogs. Fleas on dogs die within 1 day after treatment. One treatment prevents further flea infestations for 4 weeks. The preparation can be used as part of the treatment strategy for flea-induced allergic dermatitis. For the treatment of fur lice (Trichodectes canis). The preparation has a persistent acaricidal and repellent ("anti-bloodsucking") effect against tick infestations (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus for 4 weeks and Dermacentor reticulatus for 3 weeks). Reduces the likelihood of ehrlichiosis by repelling and killing Rhipicephalus sanguineus from day 3 after treatment and up to 4 weeks. Ticks already on the dog will not be killed for sure within 2 days of treatment, but may remain on the dog. It is recommended to remove these ticks before treatment to prevent them from attaching and sucking blood. One treatment has a repellent effect on sandflies (Phlebotomus papatasi for 2 weeks and Phlebotomus perniciosus for 3 weeks), on mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti for 2 weeks and Culex pipiens for 4 weeks) and on common biting flies (Stomoxys calcitrans) for 4 weeks. Reduces the risk of infection with leishmania infantum from sandflies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for up to 3 weeks. Attachment of individual ticks or bites from individual sandflies or mosquitoes may occur. Therefore, transmission of infectious diseases via these parasites cannot be completely excluded if conditions are unfavorable.

Contraindications: Do not use in cats. Puppies under 7 weeks and 1.5 kg should not be treated. Should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or one or more of the excipients.
